I’d love to ask you.

When was the last time you told you how much you love you???

Don’t worry even if you don’t say that to yourself often; I believe that at the end of this blog on self-care, you will be more inclined to do so.

Self-care is focusing on yourself first and then giving to others. It is about filling your cup up and then giving and serving others from your overflow.

Self-care also means being kind to yourself. That is, treating yourself with compassion, and acknowledging you’re trying your best.

Taking care of oneself is often an afterthought for most people. On the list of priorities, it often falls toward the bottom. The reality is that it shouldn’t. Self-care is an important aspect of maintaining a healthy mind and body. It ensures you are feeling your best, both physically and mentally.

By taking some time out to engage in self-care, you get to relieve yourself from the pressures of everyday life and reset yourself to get back to a healthy point where you become productive again.

Self-care is as important as your dreams or goals. As you take time and prioritize to make those sales calls, scroll through social media, and push to master your craft, you also need to prioritize self-care.

Practicing self-care, can reduce stress, improve your mood, and add a little more kindness to the world.

  2. Go for a long walk-through nature
  3. Journal about how you feel
  4. Cook or order your favorite meal
  5. Read a book

  10. Spend quality time with friends or family
  11. Meet new friends
  12. Surround yourself with positive people
