I’m Sticking with IT!

I recently watched a Netflix series about
the Beckham family, and it got me thinking. I saw a video where Marisa Payer
talked about Victoria Beckham and her amazing stickability. This means she
knows what she wants and goes after it without giving up.

Victoria Beckham saw David Beckham and
decided she wanted to be with him. She went for it, and they ended up together.
She also started different brands. Even if they didn’t always succeed at first,
she kept going and never gave up.

This made me think about why staying power
is important. Staying power means sticking with something even when it’s tough.
It’s important in every part of our lives—our careers, marriages,
relationships, health, and more. It means not quitting when things get hard.

Some people say that Generation Z, the
younger generation, is too impatient. They think Gen Z gives up too quickly on
marriages, jobs, and relationships. But maybe we need to find a balance. In the
past, people might have stayed too long in bad situations. But now, we might be
giving up too soon.

So, how do we find this balance? First, we
need to keep learning and growing. Just like we go to school for our jobs, we
need to learn how to improve our relationships and personal lives. This could
mean going to therapy, attending workshops, reading books, or just being open
to change.

Staying power doesn’t mean staying in bad
situations. If there’s abuse in a marriage, it’s important to leave and stay
safe. But if the problem is something like poor communication, we can learn new
skills to improve it.

For example, parenting is tough. Kids go
through different stages, and each stage needs different skills. Just like
Nicole Kidman said, as a parent, she was learning to be a mother to an
18-year-old for the first time and asked for patience. We need to keep learning
to handle different challenges in life.

Victoria and David Beckham didn’t stay
together by luck. They worked on their marriage, got help when needed, and kept
learning and growing. This applies to everything we do. To have staying power,
we need to believe in what we’re doing, invest in our growth, and keep
improving.

The staying power is about sticking with
things and constantly trying to get better. It’s about believing in what we’re
doing and working hard to achieve our goals. Let’s take inspiration from people
like Victoria Beckham and try to have more staying power in our own lives.
Remember, success is not just about starting; it’s about sticking with it and
always trying to improve.
