KNOW YOUR WORTH AND STEP INTO YOUR STRENGTH

KNOW YOUR WORTH AND STEP INTO YOUR STRENGTH

One thing that deeply concerns me is the relentless pressure society places on women to conform to ever-changing standards of beauty.

Everywhere you turn, there’s a message suggesting that to be beautiful, you need something more—creams, surgeries, specific clothes, or even a particular body shape. The truth is, these messages are designed to make us question ourselves, to keep us feeling like we’re never enough. But today, I want to remind you of something powerful: YOU ARE ENOUGH. Just as you are.

Growing up, I was often criticized for being too skinny, with people assuming I was sickly. Later, when I gained weight, the criticism shifted to being too fat. The message was clear: no matter what, I was never going to be the right size. And it didn’t stop there. Society has a never-ending list of what a woman should be to feel beautiful or worthy—whether it’s wearing a certain hairstyle, driving a flashy car, or conforming to an ideal body shape. But why should we let these outside voices define us?

As women, we are bombarded with these messages that aim to break us down and make us question our worth. They tell us we need to change who we are to be accepted, to be loved, to be seen. But at what point do we stop and say, “Enough is enough”?

I reached a point where I decided that these external standards were not going to define me. I began doing the internal work to rebuild my confidence and self-esteem. I started embracing who I am, flaws and all. I created a new identity for myself—one that wasn’t based on the world’s ever-changing standards but in my own sense of self-worth.

My journey to self-acceptance wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. I stopped adhering to societal expectations, and instead, I began to love myself just as I am.

Ladies, I urge you to do the same. Stop and ask yourself: At what point do you become fully secure in who you are? When do you decide that you are enough? The truth is, no amount of external changes will ever make you feel truly worthy or beautiful. That feeling has to come from within.

Stand in front of the mirror today and tell yourself, “I am enough just the way I am.” Let that be your daily affirmation. Because the real power lies not in changing who you are to fit someone else’s idea of beauty but in embracing your true self.

You are strong, you are worthy, and you deserve to step into your strength every single day.

Remember, no external validation will ever be enough if you don’t first believe in your own worth. So, choose to love yourself, embrace your uniqueness, and let your inner strength shine through.

I hope these words have sparked something within you. Don’t just read—take the next step.

Remember, I’m here for you as a sister and friend, ready to support you along the way. If you ever need someone to talk to, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Love and light.
